    Kobe Steel, Ltd. And Mitsubishi Materials Corporation integrated domestic and East-Asian copper tube business operations.
    Kobelco & Materials Copper Tube Co., Ltd. is established.

  • October
    Kitamoto Plant operations ceased. Control of domestic production is moved to Hatano Plant.
  • 2006
  • January
    Took over copper business operations from Sanposhindo. Expanded business to include magnetron and commutator tubes.

  • June
    Kitamoto Plant closed.
  • 2021
  • December
    Took over part of copper tube business Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. originally operated, and transferred the equipments to Hatano Plant.
  • 2022
  • April
    A special purpose company under Marunouchi Capital Inc. acquired all of our issued shares.
    Change the company name to KMCT
    July
    Made Moji Metal Products Co., Ltd. and Sambo Shindo (Thailand) Co., Ltd.[*] into subsidiaries.
    [*]Later, changed company name to Sambo Piping (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

  • January
    Merged with Moji Metal Products Co., Ltd. and established the Moji Metal Products Division of KMCT. 
    December
    Malaysia Plant closed. Partial production transferred to KMCT Thailand.
